The Navi Mumbai Arts Festival 2012 that was held earlier this year at Urban Haat in CBD-Belapur, Navi Mumbai featured artwork made by artisans from all across the length and breadth of the country. There was a wide variety of artwork on display that ranged from the usual paintings and sculptures to some interesting art pieces made from using materials such as recycled rubber tyres and scrap metal.
Take a look at this rubber tyre art work seen at the arts exhibition.
Well I don't know how many people would like to keep furniture made from rubber tyres in their drawing room at home, but yes, its definitely an interesting and imaginative use for something so ordinary as a vehicle tyre.
